MLG, Win Rates, and Baneling Busts

Well, I’ve had a chance to increase the sample size of the number of HotS games I’ve played. Now that I have some real data, I must say I’m a bit surprised.
According to the statistics page (which I find myself visiting after almost every match now), Zerg is my best race. And my win rate, around 75% to 80% is still really awesome. Terran is just below 50/50, which is also an improvement for me. But Toss is very low … around 10% to 15%.
I find myself at a loss to explain why my toss win rate is so low. I used to play as toss, and I consider my toss play to be very good. In WoL at least. So far, I’ve only ever one PvT games. It’s bizarre.
I also calculated my total win percentage. It’s 45%. Oh, the good old days when I could complain about winning too much. Those days are over. Now, just a few short days later, I get to complain about not winning enough.
After having watched this most recent MLG, I should also like to take the time to say ‘I told you so.’ I’m referring to Life’s various games. Although he uses different build orders than what I have advocated in previous posts, he nearly always went for a baneling bust. Especially in his games versus Terran. I do believe this proves what I had been grasping at. That Terran is very vulnerable to baneling busts, and that the strategy is, if anything, OP.
I guess I’m surprised that his opponents never seemed to shut down busts with siege tanks. Flash sure seems to prefer widow mines. When I play as terran, I may be inclined to copy him. Of course, he wound up losing, but I’ll play like a losing Flash any day.
